{filename} The White Tent was set in the Bullring for a week in the summer of 2007, to capture the internationalism of Birminghamís residents and visitors as part of my Portrait of Britain project. I chose Birmingham as the first city to visit because of its style and imagination. The people of Birmingham were lovely which made it easier for me to capture the city's essence in my photographs. The White Tent project was managed by Rhubarb Rhubarb, a photography development agency, in collaboration with Bullring and Birmingham City Council, via its Urban Fusion strategy for creating large scale projects which profile Birmingham as a city for creative excellence.
