The idea of being an itinerant photographer has always appealed to me arriving somewhere and setting up a tent-studio and asking people to come in and have their portrait taking in quite a formal but neutral setting.

In the summer of 2004, I accepted the invitation of Lost Vagueness to go to Glastonbury and set up a tent and photograph anyone wanted to come in to the tent. I have a white, garage sized tent and I found that many people came in, felt safe and enjoyed themselves while having their portrait taken. Or maybe it was a chance to get in out of the rain and the mud!
