Blackpool
Since Victorian times Blackpool on Britain’s NE coast has been the most popular seaside resort in the UK: with sandy beaches with donkey rides, 3 piers, a mile long promenade full of fortune-tellers, pubs, fish-and-chip shops, plus a huge fun-fair. I have been photographing the insanity of this party town, in both summer and winter, for over 35 years.
Blackpool 1984-1989 is available, with a selection of these images, from Cafe Royal Books https://www.caferoyalbooks.com/
